15-Minutes to Trick the Body, Fat Burn
Women want to look good in those skimpy summer clothes, but gym time is hard to find. With summer here, temperatures are rising, and shedding clothes is as much a need as an energy boost. The problem comes when that bikini doesn’t flatter us like it used to. Before drowning your hope, consider fifteen minutes with the right exercises can kick-start the body into a fat burning machine.
Human Growth Hormone or HGH is the key to tricking the body into burning fat. By age 40 the body’s HGH production decreases by 30% and keeps decreasing with age. HGH is released the most during burst training. In other words, going as fast as one can for short periods of time, like sprinting.
Burst training, or exercising at 100 percent of your heart maximum, for five to 15 minutes pushes the body into fat burn mode for the next 36 hours. Here’s how:
- Start with an empty stomach.
- Warm-up for 5 minutes at a low intensity (running in place, jumping jacks, ect)
- Do speed drills like running (or dancing/cycle/elliptical/jumping jacks/etc.) for 30 seconds. Then walk for 30 seconds. Do this for 5-10 minutes.
- Cool down for 5 mins.
Doing this three times per week can make a big difference.

Thanks for this Dr. Yvonne. Will try this this morning. Have to be careful because I have a partial knee replacement. Dancing in place sounds like it might work for me if I move my arms around wildly
